Players will step into an experience built around high-quality coaching, purposeful training, competitive match opportunities, and football-specific education. The goal is not only to improve performance, but to help each player better understand what serious development looks like in a professional setting.

This experience is built for players who want more than a holiday. It is for players who want to be stretched, supported, and inspired.

Supervision, safeguarding and parent options.

Supported player travel, with parent options available

Option 1

Fully supervised travel
Under 14* - Parents must travel.

Players may travel as part of the supervised Australian tour group, supported by the EliteEdge Football Academy team, Daniel Mahoney, David Fraser, & Tanya Fraser.
* Player is under 14 on 25 March 2027

Option 2

Parent-attending option
Over 14 - Parent travel optional.

Parents are welcome to attend if preferred. Parent places can be discussed separately & are subject to availability and pricing at the time of booking. NOTE: Tick "Yes" on the EOI Form.

Where an under-18 player travels without a parent or guardian, UK guidance requires evidence that a parent or guardian consents to the child’s travel and accommodation arrangements, and Australian travel advice notes that airlines may also require permission forms for younger travellers.

BEYOND THE PITCH.

Football culture, learning and memorable experiences.

This experience is designed to expose players to more than training alone.

We partner with ambitious companies to unlock potential, streamline operations, and achieve sustainable success.

Depending on fixture timing and final arrangements, the broader FTIFA experience proposition may include:

  • Premier League and EFL match attendance
  • Major stadium tours
  • St George's Park National Football Centre
  • The National Football Museum
  • Local enrichment activities

This broader environment matters. Players do not just train differently; they see the standards, routines, and culture that shape high-performance football.

The Location

A setting built for recovery and team connection on England’s north-west coast.

Accommodation

“The Village” is Fleetwood Town FC’s partner accommodation and is described as a 4-star base designed for rest, recovery, and team connection, with facilities such as pools, spa areas, squash, and golf.

The Fylde Coast

Discover the charm of Fleetwood, a historic seaside gem on Lancashire's Fylde Coast. With its picturesque seafront, vibrant marina, and lively market, Fleetwood invites visitors to enjoy its beautiful promenade and rich maritime heritage. Experience a captivating seaside escape along its unspoiled coastline.

Training at FTIFA

Experience an exceptional training venue just 10 miles from Blackpool, near Fleetwood Town FC at Butts Road, Thornton, FY5 4HX. Enjoy the perfect blend of seaside charm and the electric atmosphere of Fleetwood's football scene. Don't miss out on this unforgettable opportunity!

Families who have never travelled to the UK are often surprised by how compact this part of England feels compared with Australian distances. Fleetwood is only about 9 road miles from Blackpool, and the Blackpool Tramway runs all the way from Starr Gate to Fleetwood, making the Fylde Coast feel like one connected strip of seaside towns.

Fleetwood Town
This location gives players the best of both worlds: a focused football base near Fleetwood Town’s environment, a classic English seaside setting on the Fylde Coast, and access to major football cities and stadiums that many young players have only ever seen on screen.

That compact geography also places some of English football’s most famous landmarks within a realistic distance for an excursion. Anfield, home of Liverpool FC at Anfield Road, Liverpool L4 0TH, is about 44 road miles / 1 hour 12 minutes from Blackpool. Old Trafford, home of Manchester United at Sir Matt Busby Way, Old Trafford, Manchester M16 0RA, is about 50.5 road miles / 58 minutes from Blackpool. The Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City at Etihad Campus, Ashton New Road, Manchester M11 3FF, is about 53.2 road miles / 1 hour 3 minutes from Blackpool.

From Fleetwood itself, Liverpool is about 51.8 road miles / 1 hour 21 minutes, and Manchester is about 55.2 road miles by road. In practical terms, that means players can be based in a quieter coastal setting while still being within reach of some of the most recognisable football venues in England.
